what do you do when going through some tough, hard times?

Well, first of all, let's say that I didn't choose a career path that is an easy one. It's a lot of ups and downs and a real challenge for someone like me, who is easily affected by what happens. I have learned that no matter what happens, if you keep up your physical health and fitness, you feel better. I try to keep exercising, swimming or running, basically doing anything once a day that will get me out of breath. I once read that salt water is the cure for everything, so sweat, tears or seawater are the panacea. I think it's true. For example, yesterday I woke up very badly, after some nightmares that brought up unresolved issues and fears. I was crying and it wasn't even 7 AM yet. I fell back asleep & after I finally got up, I biked hard to the ocean and jumped into the freezing water. I think the surfers thought I was crazy. But I felt better, like my internal PH had been reset.
Also, I use flower essences. They are amazing at helping me deal with emotions. More on that later!
